Clinical Supervision
Alongside my work with children, young people and families, I also offer clinical supervision to professionals working in mental health, education and related fields.
Supervision provides a reflective and supportive space in which to think about the emotional and relational aspects of your work. It is not only a place to reflect on the clinical material you encounter, but also a space to support you as a practitioner — recognising the personal impact of the work and helping you to sustain your own wellbeing

Providing you with professional support
Whether you are newly qualified or highly experienced, regular supervision can help you:
-
Anxiety, low mood, or emotional outbursts
-
Process the impact of complex clinical material,
-
Recognise unconscious dynamics — the patterns and emotional responses that may be repeated both within professional networks and in the therapeutic relationship with patients,
-
Deepen your understanding of the therapeutic process,
-
Maintain emotional resilience,
-
Sustain a thoughtful, ethical and effective practice, and
-
Feel supported in your own professional journey.
My approach is informed by psychoanalytic and relational perspectives, with attention to the emotional experience of both practitioner and client. I aim to create a collaborative environment where you can explore challenges, gain new insights, and continue developing your professional identity.
I currently supervise practitioners from a range of backgrounds, including therapists, counsellors, nurses, teachers, and social workers. Supervision is available in person across Ayrshire and Glasgow, or online.
If you would like to discuss supervision further, please feel free to get in touch.
If you’re considering therapy, I offer a free 20-minute initial consultation. This gives you a chance to talk through what’s been going on and see if this feels like the right fit.
Clinics in Ayrshire, Glasgow, and Edinburgh. In-person and online sessions are available.
