My approach is grounded in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. This means we’ll work together to explore not just what’s happening now, but how past experiences, internal patterns, or unspoken feelings may be shaping how you see yourself and relate to others. It’s a space to be heard, understood, and begin to grow from the inside out.
Sessions are confidential and tailored to your pace. You set the focus — whether that’s understanding something more deeply, working through a specific problem, or simply creating space to think and feel with support.
If you’re considering therapy, I offer a free 20-minute initial consultation. This gives you a chance to talk through what’s been going on and see if this feels like the right fit.
Clinics in Ayrshire, Glasgow, and Edinburgh. In-person and online sessions are available.
Your late teens and twenties can be a time of enormous change. You might be starting university or work, leaving home, navigating new relationships, or simply trying to figure out who you are and where you belong. There’s pressure to “have it all together” — but it’s also normal to feel lost, anxious, low, or unsure of your path.
You don’t need a crisis or diagnosis to seek support. Many young adults come to therapy because something feels stuck, overwhelming, or hard to name. Talking things through in a confidential, reflective space can make a real difference.
I work with young adults aged 18 to 25 from all walks of life — including students, graduates, those in work or looking for direction, and people with diverse neurotypes, identities, and backgrounds. Whether you’re dealing with specific challenges or just need space to make sense of things, therapy can help.
